WANDERPICS – TERMS & CONDITIONS (ENGLISH VERSION)

1. Purpose
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) define the rules for accessing and using the WanderPics platform (the “Platform”), as well as the rights and obligations of:
-
Customers: users booking services through the Platform;
-
Providers: professional service providers (photographers, dress rentals, makeup artists, guides, event planners, etc.) offering services on the Platform.
WanderPics is a marketplace. It does not provide the services itself. All services displayed on the Platform are performed exclusively by independent Providers, under their sole responsibility.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Platform, creating an account or making a booking, you confirm that you:

have read, understood and accepted these Terms;
-
have legal capacity to enter into a contract;
-
agree to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
WanderPics may update these Terms at any time. The version applicable is the one in effect at the time of the booking.
3. Role of WanderPics
WanderPics:
-
provides the technical infrastructure allowing Providers to publish and Customers to book services;
-
facilitates the booking and payment process via a third-party payment processor;
-
collects operating fees (see Section 8).
WanderPics is not a party to the agreement between Customers and Providers.
The service contract is formed directly between the Customer and the Provider.
Therefore, WanderPics:
-
does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, legality or suitability of services offered by Providers;
-
bears no responsibility for the performance of the services.
4. Account Creation
4.1 Customer Account
To make a booking, Customers may be required to create an account and provide:
-
full name, email, password;
-
additional information required for bookings.
Customers agree to:
-
provide accurate and up-to-date information;
-
keep login credentials confidential;
-
not impersonate any third party.
4.2 Provider Account
Providers must create an account and supply:
-
identity and business details;
-
legal/fiscal status;
-
description of services, pricing, availability, portfolio;
-
payout details.
WanderPics reserves the right to:
-
approve or reject any Provider application;
-
request verification documents (ID, business registration, insurance, etc.);
-
suspend or terminate a Provider’s account if Terms are violated.
5. Service Listings
Providers are solely responsible for their service listings, including:
-
description, duration, location and capacity;
-
pricing and any additional fees;
-
availability and service conditions.
Providers agree that all posted content must be:
-
accurate, clear and not misleading;
-
reflective of the true quality of their services;
-
updated regularly.
6. Booking Process
-
The Customer selects a service, date and, if applicable, a time slot.
-
The Customer submits booking information and proceeds to payment.
-
Payment is processed securely via a third-party payment provider.
-
Depending on the Provider’s settings:
-
the booking is instantly confirmed, or
-
the Provider must accept the request within a defined time.
-

Once accepted, a service contract is formed between Customer and Provider.
-
The Customer receives confirmation, meeting point details and other instructions.
Customers are responsible for:
-
verifying booking details;
-
arriving on time;
-
following Provider instructions.
7. Pricing & Payments
7.1 Pricing
Service prices displayed on the Platform are set by Providers.
Unless otherwise stated, they include all applicable taxes.
Prices include:
-
the Provider’s service fee;
-
WanderPics’ operating fees (see Section 8).
Optional extras (transport, extended session, additional dress, etc.) must be clearly disclosed by Providers.
7.2 Payment
Payments are processed via a third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe).
By booking, the Customer authorizes WanderPics and the payment provider to:
-
collect the full booking amount;
-
deduct WanderPics operating fees;
-
transfer the remaining amount to the Provider after service completion.
8. WanderPics Operating Fees (15%)
For every confirmed booking:
-
WanderPics collects an operating fee of 15% of the total service price;
-
this fee is automatically deducted before the payout to the Provider;
-
the remainder is transferred to the Provider after the service and after a safety delay.
WanderPics may:
-
modify the fee for future bookings (with prior notification to Providers);
-
charge optional service fees (marketing boosts, visibility options, etc.) upon agreement.
Fee changes apply only to future bookings.
9. Cancellation, Modifications & Refunds
Cancellation rules may follow:
-
a standard WanderPics cancellation policy, and/or
-
specific rules defined by each Provider.
Examples (to adjust based on your final policy):
-
Cancellation by Customer several days in advance → partial or full refund (excluding non-refundable charges).
-
Late cancellation or no-show → no refund.
-
Cancellation by Provider → Customer receives a full refund; WanderPics may suggest alternatives but is not obligated to.
WanderPics operating fees are generally non-refundable, except:
-
in the case of proven technical error;
-
or exceptional decision at WanderPics’ discretion.
Force majeure situations (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, natural events) must be handled under a clear policy defined separately.
10. Customer Obligations
Customers agree to:
-
use the Platform responsibly;
-
provide accurate personal and booking information;
-
respect meeting times and instructions;
-
behave respectfully with Providers;
-
not endanger themselves, the Provider or third parties;
-
comply with image rights, location rules and local laws.
WanderPics may suspend or terminate accounts for:
-
repeated abuse (late cancellations, no-shows);
-
inappropriate or threatening behavior;
-
serious violation of these Terms.
11. Provider Obligations
Providers agree to:
-
comply with all legal, tax and insurance requirements;
-
provide high-quality services as described;
-
respect agreed schedules and conditions;
-
communicate clearly any constraints (weather, accessibility, wardrobe requirements, etc.);
-
ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment and clothing;
-
refrain from soliciting WanderPics Customers off-platform to avoid fees.
WanderPics may suspend Providers for:
-
consistently poor reviews;
-
serious complaints or incidents;
-
violation of laws or Terms;
-
fraud or fee circumvention.
12. Reviews & Ratings
After a service, Customers may leave a review.
Reviews must be:
-
genuine;
-
factual and honest;
-
respectful;
-
free of defamatory, hateful or discriminatory content.
WanderPics may moderate or remove reviews that violate these rules.
WanderPics may use reviews (anonymized or not) for marketing purposes unless opposed by the user.
13. Intellectual Property & Content
13.1 WanderPics Platform
All elements of the Platform (design, branding, text, code, images, layout, etc.) belong to WanderPics or its partners.
Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
13.2 Provider Content
Providers retain ownership of their content.
By posting content on WanderPics, Providers grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license allowing WanderPics to:
-
display listings;
-
use content for marketing purposes (website, app, social media).
13.3 Content Created During a Service
The rights to photos/videos produced during a session are governed by:
-
the Provider’s own terms (licensing, delivery times, usage rights), or
-
a separate written agreement.
WanderPics is not liable for disputes related to intellectual property between Customers and Providers.
14. Liability of WanderPics
WanderPics is a technical intermediary, not a service provider.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WanderPics shall not be liable for:
-
service quality, delays, cancellations or poor execution;
-
inaccurate information provided by Customers or Providers;
-
damage, loss or injury resulting from services performed by Providers;
-
indirect or consequential damages.
WanderPics’ total liability, if any, is limited to the amount of operating fees collected for the disputed booking.
15. Account Suspension & Termination
WanderPics may suspend or terminate any account, without notice in case of serious misconduct, including:
-
fraud or attempted fraud;
-
breach of these Terms;
-
illegal or dangerous activity;
-
attempts to circumvent fees;
-
harm to the Platform’s reputation or functioning.
16. Data Protection
Use of the Platform involves the processing of personal data.
Details are provided in the WanderPics Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Users have rights under applicable data protection laws (access, correction, deletion, etc.).
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert appropriate country].
In the event of dispute:
-
parties must first seek an amicable resolution;
-
failing resolution, disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
18. Modification of Terms
WanderPics may update these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect once published on the Platform.
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
